Set up your Sonos system

When you set up your Sonos system for the first time or add a new product to your existing system, you’ll need the Sonos app on your phone or tablet. The app will guide you through setting up your Sonos products one by one, adding your music and voice services, and getting all of your products updated. Below, you’ll find download links for the Sonos app as well as links to setup instructions for specific Sonos products.

It isn’t possible to set up a new system with the Sonos app on Mac or PC, but these apps can be used to control your Sonos system after you’ve finished setup with a mobile app. Check our system requirements for a list of supported devices and features.

Choose your Sonos product

Choose the Sonos product you’d like to set up first from the options below. If you’re setting up a new system with more than one Sonos product, choose the product you’d like to set up first and the app will guide you through adding each of them one by one.
