Remove surround speakers

This article will show you how to remove your surround speakers from your Sonos home theater.

1. Open the Sonos app for iOS or Android.
2. From the Settings tab, tap System.
3. Under Products, tap the home theater room where the surround speakers are located.
4. Select Remove Surrounds.
5. Follow the in-app prompts to remove the surrounds from this room.

If the surround speakers were previously used as separate rooms in your Sonos system, they will revert to their previous names. If they were not previously used elsewhere, they will be labeled “Unused” and can be renamed by tapping them in the Rooms tab.
